Overgrown Acreage Mowing in Converse, Texas
Keeping vacant acreage under control isn't always as simple as getting out the riding mower. At this Converse property, grass had grown several feet tall, and small saplings were starting to take over.
The owner was concerned the overgrowth could eventually lead to city property-maintenance penalties. Someone had also mowed the roadside strip on the residential side without his requesting it. That was another sign it was time to get the rest of the land back in shape.
From heavy growth to manageable acreage
Tractor mowing for the heavy growth
We brought in our tractor and brush hog to tackle the tall grass, weeds, and smaller saplings across the agreed work area. The owner initially expected us to mow around some of the woody growth, but the equipment could safely handle more of it than he anticipated.
We also worked carefully around uneven ground and a drainage area. This was acreage mowing—not a manicured lawn service—and the goal was to make the property easier to access and maintain.

Quarterly mowing going forward
The difference was easy to see: the heavy growth was cut back, the field was opened up, and the owner was pleased with the result.
Just as importantly, we arranged quarterly mowing so the property has a regular maintenance plan instead of waiting for the next major cleanup.
